MINISTRIES
Zion Baptist Church's goal is to be a comprehensive community church that bears witness to the good news of Jesus Christ. We aim to reach all races, ethnicities, ages, genders, socio-economic levels, and faith levels. In order to do that, we have diverse ministry areas aimed at specific targeted populations in hopes of gaining real-world connections outside our common belief in the Bible (as the infallible Word of God) and our belief in Jesus Christ (as the only begotten son of God who died on the Cross but rose in three days with all power in His hands).

We hope that you will not only connect and make Zion Baptist Church your spiritual home but that you will also connect and serve in a ministry. Service is a fundamental attribute of serving Jesus Christ. In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "Everyone can be great because anyone can serve!"
Youth Ministry
Our youth Department is one of the greatest faith-based youth programs in the State of Georgia. Our Youth Directors or super creative and immensely talented when it comes to making young disciples of Jesus Christ. They often make real-world examples and that makes learning about Jesus fun!
Men of Zion (M.O.Z.)
The Zion Men's Ministry is a collection of men who understand their roles in the family and in the church. We lean on the strength of each brother to grow daily in Jesus Christ. As the scripture says, "As iron sharpens iron, so does one man strengthen another in the faith."
Greeters & Hospitality
"It's nice to be nice, for when we are nice to others, people will in turn be nice to us."

There is no greater honor than to be a doorkeeper and servant in the House of the Lord. Our Ushers, Greeters, and Hospitality ministry help make all feel welcome and at home here at Zion Baptist Church.
Women of Excellence
The strongest ministry in Zion Baptist Church is by far the Women of Excellence! They are the woven fabric that holds our church family together. Their connectedness and spirit of sisterhood resonate with women of all ages and backgrounds. They are led by First Lady TK Berry. Their mantra is, "We are all a work in progress so please be patient with me; God is not through with me yet!"
Pastoral Support (Armor Bearers)
Very few understand the role of our spiritual leaders and how they labor before God's people. The Pastoral support team is a group of people who have a heart for the Men and Women of God. They ensure that our Pastors are supported and taken care of physically so that they can pour out to us spiritually.
Zion Community Center
Zion Community Center is an integral part of our outreach ministry. We have held several events of service including Food Drives, Job & Career Expos, Fall Festivals, Youth Sports Leagues, After School Programs, and more. We continue to shine a light on our community as a whole by being an extension of God's loving hands.
Music & Worship Arts Ministry
Our Music and Worship Arts ministry is an integral part of our worship experience. This includes our Musical staff, AV Team, Choirs, Praise Teams, Praise Dancers, and Worship Leaders. The primary responsibility is to set the atmosphere for worship and to support the message through collaborative expressions of art in worship.
Mothers Ministry
Our Mothers are precious pearls of wisdom and grace. They have walked a righteous path before the Lord and now they serve as examples to our younger women to live by. While the standard is to live righteous, they exemplify a grace from God that allows all to draw closer to God without the fear or shame of the mistakes of their youth. Nothing like a Mother's love.
Deacons & Trustee Ministries
2 Timothy 2:2b says, "... entrust to reliable people, who will be qualified to teach others." The Deacons are ordained leaders of the Christian church charged to ensure the business of the House of God does not go lacking. In additional support, the trustee ministry has a purpose to help effectively manage the finances of the church in support of the vision of the Pastor and other Leaders.
